Was Hulk Hogan's music written by Jim? Someone told me that years ago and i wasn't sure.

AndyK 11 Jan 2007 16:03

Yes, but Hulk Hogan's Theme is different to the performance by Meat being discussed here.

geordieloaf 11 Jan 2007 16:04

Thanks Andy, i have to be honest i thought no way when he said.

allrevvedup 11 Jan 2007 16:04

AndyK 11 Jan 2007 16:26

Thread split to preserve original topic.

Jim wrote and produced Hulk Hogan's Theme, which was if memory serves correcty a recycling of Ravishing which Jim wrote and produced for Bonnie Tyler.

I got some more info on Hulk Hogan'sTM Theme on my website.

It's by far the highlight of the album it's on.

RadioMaster 11 Jan 2007 16:41

djfierce 11 Jan 2007 16:43

umm which era of Hulk is this? When he returned or the original theme?

AndyK 11 Jan 2007 16:53

It was his second theme, the first time round (if that makes sense) after Eye Of The Tiger.

evil nickname 11 Jan 2007 16:57

It's on an album released in '85.

djfierce 11 Jan 2007 16:59

RadioMaster 11 Jan 2007 17:09

wizardofodd 11 Jan 2007 17:09

did jim write the version "Real American" it is hogans most popular theme music that is well reconised by the majority of the wrestling audience. the theme is still used today as hulk attempts to wrestle.

AndyK 11 Jan 2007 17:16
