what actually IS a NAMM?

NAMM is a Trade Show event usually held in or near Los Angeles every January, not anyone can go, you have to be in the music industry to get in there and have a special pass. The event has hudreads of vendors showing off the latest technology in the music industry like effects for instruments etc. Alot of the time major musicians who are endorsed by certain products will be invited to play and to demo the new products, sometimes these demos turn into almighty jam sessions with major stars playing along. if you can get in you can meet just about anyone. a couple of years ago i met Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, and once ran into BoB Kulick a few years ago
