Personally i didn't take this to be an insult either. I actually got more positive out of it than bad. Then again different people take different meanings from things so im not saying im right but:
They say sadly, then enjoy him while you can, and then say you will not see his like again - which i take as positive. when they say "is probaly a good thing...right? " I take this to be them writing to their teenage audience the way they understand, i dont think they are getting at Meat but maybe having a joke or something.
