The bottom line is that one dishonest company has been supplanted by a profiteering one. We have lost money on empty promises and there is little that can be said or done to recover the money.

DON'T GET MAD, GET EVEN.

Complain to the California Bureau of Consumer Affairs! If MLUKFC members in the USA can act as sponsors, perhaps we can get a response out of them and perhaps prevent the pirates from starting up again.

I have to agree with faolteam's sentiments with regard to the takeover: same name implies continuation of responsibility - whether justified or not. Personally, I will not be renewing with the new, improved .net when they ask for my money. If the new regime means that I have to remain a foot-soldier in the army of meat then so be it: I will not have my loyalty tested by requests to buy 'favours' with exorbitant sums of money or by pitifully late incentives AFTER I have already shown my loyalty by buying inferior, generally-available tickets as soon as I could after release.

Thanks, .net, but no thanks.
