But not only Meat has been left out.
I think it is amazing they did not try to get artists like Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Status Quo, Queen (plus plenty of great African musicians). Surely these kind of artists would fit to play at such an event much more than some of the ones that are playing there right now and only really seem to be wanting to raise awareness for themselves????

Having said that I thought Annie Lennox' "Why" was pretty damn good and up until now the only song / clip that really struck a chord with me about the magnitude of the situation in Africa.
