A teddy bear went for a job at the local council.
As the foreman did not want to upset him,
he gave him a pick & shovel and told him to
go around town and fill all the pot holes on the roads.
After about three hours the teddy decided to have
a break, and went to have a cup of tea.
When he got back he found that someone had
stolen his pick!
Very upset and dissapointed, he went back to the
foreman to tell him what had happened.
When he told the foreman what had happened,
the foreman said " oh, I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you,
Today's the day the teddy bears have their picks nicked!"
