In my opinion, Meat sings SO MUCH BETTER now than he did in the 70s. If you visit the multimedia section on the Steinman site, you can download some live performances of Bat from the early years, but the version on MSO is FAR superior (IMO.) Not that he was bad back then, but he has matured so well through the years, and I happen to prefer his current vocals. Actually, Bat on MSO is probably my favorite version. You probably think I'm crazy, but oh well, that DVD has the best live performances I've ever seen.
