Do you have any Russian delis in your area? They carry sometimes Russian (not really Russian) liquors...
Armenian brandy is considered the best brandy of those parts...they will be able to recommend if you have some Russian/Polish store in the area...if not...I just might bring a bottle or two with me...
We also have fruit brandies...brandy aged with full fruit inside (peach, for example)...those are great for ladies who don't like strong liquors...
