I used to have the book of Hannibal, but just looked on my shelves and it's gone
Might have to hunt it down to reread it. Do remember from the film that the Clarice characterisation didn't follow on from Silence, but some of that could have been the fact that Jodie Foster and her accent weren't in the follow up...
