The best selling single in 1993,from the best selling album of 1993.Spending seven weeks at number one,this is Meat's biggest success yet.
The combination of Meat Loaf & Jim Steinman,the fantasy art and feel,the magic name Bat II,yet record produces thought the album would crash and burn.Some people just never ever learn

The song itself is a Steinman classic.Nice long intro,mixture of ballard and rock,and an unmistakable quality in the music and lyrics.
I think the video is fantastic.The beauty and the beast story fit this song like a glove

Just when you think it can't get any better,you hear a live version with Patti and it blows you away all over again.
10/10 As long as the planets are turning.
