Me and Heather went to see John and Paul with Marya last week. I can't believe it came and went to fast and that itls nearly a week since we got back
There were many many highlights to this trip
Here's a few...
We arrived in LA last wed evening. Just in time to pick up a hire car, get changed in the loo's and tackle the LA traffic to find 'The Joint'
This was all as horrendous as it sounds
We survived and got there about 30 mins before they were due to go on lol.
After having a quick chat and a few well deserved Southern Comforts it was show time
The sound that comes out of Marya's mouth for someone so tiny is amazing! . Usually at these sort of shows the sound is way too loud but this was perfect. Although my video doesn't seem to think so lol. I can't fault the show at all. It was very very cool to see John and Paul play with Marya. It was also very cool to get to see and meet Joey Vera. If I say so myself Marya is very lucky to have such an amazing band
They were all having such great fun onstage, and seemed to all play so effortlessly, yet still play amazingly.
It was great to hear some of Marya's other songs. I'm really looking forward to seeing more from here soon. She is destined to make it big. And the couple of shows we saw in LA are the start of things to come.
