Feeling incredibly mean at the moment because there's a fair amount of repairs needed on the house I'm buying so I have to ask the vendors for a reduction in the price. I know they're not made of money...but neither am I and when you're buying a house, every little counts!

On the bright side though, I've found someone willing to give me around 130 house bricks (80 brand new, rest used but clean enough) for free which I'm picking up tonight. Is it incredibly sad that I'm excited about this? The wall in the roof space between myself and my neighbours is partially missing and needs rebuilding - hence the bricks...I'm looking forward to becoming the UK's most unlikely bricklaying apprentice, and I'm roping my dad in (who isn't a brick layer, but has built walls quite succesfully, so it'll do) to teach me!

Other than those thoughts...would it be really student-ish to eat ice cream for breakfast? It's just I'm hungry, and have no food, but there's a box of cornettos (for general consumption) in work's freezer...
