I would be just as happy to go to the nearest registry office, get married, and then get the bus home to have our tea in front of the telly.

I went to a CRACKING wedding last year which was not too OTT.
The bride and groom hired a hall, everyone brought alcohol, one of our friends brought her karaoke rig, and we all had a bloody good pi$$ up.
As a bonus, outside this church hall there was a kiddies playground.
Call me a bad influence, but it wasn't long before me and the groom were on the swings seeing who could swing higher
