My hubby and I did something similar, we married when my eldest was just under two weeks old, so I'd bought my red velvet wedding dress when I was seven months pregnant, and yes, it fitted perfectly! We went to the registry office in Cambridge, got married and then went looking for a pub for a drink... I think there were less than a dozen guests altogether... After that it was home to get changed, then round a mate's house for a Chinese, and I have to say the day was much better than the first one, which was the full Church do with the meringue dress, bridesmaids, full blown reception with first dance and speeches... Not only did it cost less than £250 total, but I actually remember everything and didn't get stressed out of my mind on the day...
