DR may not have sold anything like its predecessor but then the sales and chart longevity of Bat I were absolutely phenomenal. That happens very rarely and there are very few major artists who can claim that kind of chart success.

I agree Diane, if his first album BOOH had sold 8 million, that would have been considered successful, but because BOOH did so phenomenally, it would have been hard to top that. It's like anything that is released first, if it does exceptional, it is hard for any follow ups to do better. Some artists when they have such a hugely successful first album, don't bother releasing anything else, as they don't think they will be able to top it, so I'm glad Meat didn't do that.
