Is it really that bad? I haven't seen that one yet but was quite disappointed by recent Woody Allen movies. I heard that there's a narrator explaining what's going on in the movie all the time. Is that the case? (The last time I had to endure a narrator was when I watched a movie by Ed Wood.

The last movie I saw was
Pearl Harbor. Historic inaccuracies, dull "heroes", a boring story centered around a soap opera like love triangle, annoying overuse of soppy music...
(The scene in which the boys play in the plane in the barn reminded me of Meat's
Objects In The Rear View Mirror video. Since the movie as well as the video were directed by the same person, I suspect that's not a coincidence.)
