I will gladly tell my story again of how I first heard Meat Loaf.
I was at the tender age of 7 the first time I heard Paradise. (That was in 1977
) I harassed my Mom constantly until she finally bought it for me. I have be in love with him ever since. I was pregnant with my daughter when Bat II came out. I played it all the time, so much that my husband threatened divorce if he heard it again!! After Tiara was born she was colic and one night, at my wits end, I put on Bat II and cranked it. Amazingly enough, my colicky daughter fell asleep to I'd Do Anything For Love. I was totally amazed. Night after night this worked until the colic was gone. Little did I realize that I created a monster!! She is now a big fan and her favorite songs are When The Rubber Meets The Road and You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth. The countdown is now on for CHSIB and she is now alot happier after hearing Meat announce on Canada AM that he will be touring Canada in April or May. That is a show that neither one of us will miss!!
