With all due respect to Kasim, when he was musical director for so many years, it seemed the music had one vision and never really got to evolve. Now each band member contributes something new on their instruments and Patti is singing some of the harmonies that Kasim used to, which sounds amazing. It's a great new direction for the NLE. (And best of luck to Kasim because he's a talented guy.) What do you guys think?
