To be fair, I think RaysScout is trying to find out an answer to a question without being a thread digger. He's new here...based on a recommendation to come here for Meat Loaf knowledge.

From what I've been told:
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is full of politics. Our beloved Meat has been nominated and we've tried to vote him in. If not here at MLUKFC (before my time), but at his former official forums on the old website and I believe ROL tried too. It's not for lack of fan interest. I would only hope for it to be fan driven. But when it comes to the committee on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame itself, it's a crap load of politics of who gets in.
The last I heard the committee there weren't "fans" of Meat, so they kick his name to the curb. That coupled with the some of the people IN it to begin with, sorta' looses credibility to me. I'm not here to argue, but this is what I was aware of at the time R&R Hall of Fame was brought up on another site.
Any further information would gladly be welcomed, if you have the knowledge. No arguements.
As a sidebar, I also submitted Meat to be nominated for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The jury is still out on that one too.
