Yes and no; the documentary actually premiered the other night at the Toronto International Film Festival. From the reports of a few people who have seen it, the doc contained at least one clip from the Asbury shoot, and those people said the performance sounded excellent.

Eh, maybe; I think the issue was that they only did
Darkness twice, (If you don't count the Basie performance from '08 ) one of those shows being at Giants Stadium. Stadium shows, as we know, tend to draw more casual fans who are probably going to be talking, drunk, or otherwise detract from the "vibe" of the Darkness album. (I recall people who were at Giants saying the album didn't "work" too well that night) That, or they just weren't happy with the other performances for whatever reason. Plus, they could easily do retakes if needed. When I first heard they did this, it seemed strange, but now it makes sense. I'm actually looking forward to seeing it.
