Personally I'd take a bunch of happy fans over some moronic RNR hall of fame recognition any day. In the past I've wondered why Meat wasn't in there (along with Steinman as in the songwriter category I may add) and know people have been having debates on this forum for yonks. However the more I think about it, it's really nonsense, especially considering the list they put out this year. It doesn't mean jack shit. Getting in the hall of fame doesn't pay bills or have much influence world wide at all I reckon. Outside of this forum, seeing the film "The Rocker" and hearing bits and pieces about Bruce Springsteen I wouldn't even have known about it, so how does it in God's name help? There is so much music out there, who gives a shit whether or not some stupid rock and roll hall of fame recognises it?
