From the ticket prices, the Melbourne and Sydney concerts go up to AUS$175 (US$120 = £80) and the Brisbane and Newcastle ones )*only* go up to AUS$141 (although it's possible that tickets are usually cheaper in those cities anyway).

Personally, if I was a Meat Loaf fan in Australia I would prefer a choice of either a MSO concert or a normal Meat Loaf concert, even if it does mean travelling. As much as I like the idea of seeing him with an orchestra, as he hasn't played in the country since 1996 and this is supposed to be his last World tour, I would prefer to see him in one final proper rock concert.
We pre-booked our tickets thru my husband's corporate guy at work, and we've got great seats - at A$181 each! According to the what I've heard, the concert will be in three parts - one part with the orchestra, one part with Meat and the band by themselves, and I can't remember now what the third part was supposed to be. So it won't all be 'orchestral' (to borrow Rove's wording... )

And Meat was definitely here on Sat 11th as I heard him on Rove's radio show. I think he was flying to NZ that day, wasn't he?

Luv & Hugs
