Observation made while waiting at the bus stop yesterday ~ actually, an observation I've made and thought about many times ~ Why does the city paint bicycle lanes going with the traffic ? I would think it would be better for the rider to be going AGAINST the traffic in order to have a view of what's coming at them. No bikes I've seen are equipped with rearview mirrors and the like and should you swerve a bit, you would have a car, bus or truck up your butt ! Just a thought... Were I to ride a bike, and I'm looking into it... dang be the city... I'd be going against the traffic. Riding with it scares me.

I think the "~"s are prettier ? but ... I'm just a dotDotDot gal ... lol ... I just can't help myself ... lol ...
