I can't for the life of me see any attribution that makes me trust what Meat's quoted as saying actually .. no reference to an interview or a name of an interviewer.
I think ARU has a point when he says
Quote:

if potential promoters are reading this, they will not want to see a potential client of theirs criticising an establishment that has paid them to play a show.

although we should remember that Meat has said he was not paid a fee for the public performance that resulted in the negative campaign.
But I do agree this is an argument Meat can't win. He has every right to say what he thinks of those who manipulated and joined in the campaign of cyber-bullying, but is probably best to leave it in his dust now as he moves on. He is bigger than them, better than them, and he has new fields to play, new goals to score, and he will.
The less said now the better imo .. they'll get bored when they don't get a pay-off and look for another target for their poison pens, and commenting is unlikely to help because for every comment from one of us that the site decide they'll let through, there will be a dozen who will seize on it to add more flames .. and all of those will get published.
Meat is a man with more heart, more drive, more soul than they could even vision in their wildest imaginings. He will scale more peaks than they can even dimly see from the ground. And as he does, what was so deeply hurtful and unwarranted will recede as the next horizon beckons and he devotes his impressive energy towards reaching that, visioning what lies beyond it and re-setting his sights again.
