The Monkees meant so much to me as a teen, particulary Peter. I worked the fan clubs back then ... Snail mail ... lol ... None of this fancy computer gizmoing about ... lol ... David's death came as such a shock to me and surely the world... I was good for nothing yesterday ... It's like another little bit of my childhood floated away ... RIP, David... You're loved by your family, friends and fans and will be greatly missed ... xo
