Yes it did - a new tour and a new album - but we kind of knew this already.
He said previously there was going to be a Christmas album, then a new album, then a final tour in 2013 (after which point he would be 'out of your hair') where he was going to play BOOH in sequence.
Call me miserable (or pedantic, or worse) but its not exactly an announcement just confirmation ...
I'm pleased its definitely not about Mitt Romney, but I was hoping it was about Jim Steinman ...
