This is my view on things and may cause more grief than it's worth, but the hell it it.

What seems to be Meats problem? Can he not take a bit of criticism? We all know and realise that he puts a lot of effort into his performances, nobody doubts that, but there's no way he or any other performer can give 100% day in and day out without serious effect on his health and performance. He's going to have off days and unfortunately people are going to catch him on those days. Some of those people will be members of this board and surly with Freedom of Speech they should be allowed voice their views on that particular show good or bad without both members and the artist themselves ripping them to shreds. Every time something negative is posted on this board other members jump right in and lash the poster out of it because they don't agree with them. You don't see members lashing other members who put up positive posts by calling them names and implying that their stupid or thick. There's no point in having a message board like this unless people are willing to accept the positive and the negative views of its members. It's seems to be that only positive things are only allowed here. What ever happened to Freedom of Speech? I think that is totally wrong of Meat to come on here and abuse people the way he has just because they personally felt that it was a bad show for them. I can guarantee he doesn't treat reporters and columnists like this when they write bad reviews about his music or acting and I'm sure he has got some bad reviews at some time or an other. Meat is in the business long enough to know that you can't please all the people all the time, their is no way he's going to get everybody to like him, no matter what he does. What's he going to do, write to all those people who don't like him or his music and call the names and abuse them just because they don't like him?

My impression and I state MY impression of most of the people on this board is that you can't see any bad in the man; to you he is the most perfect thing ever, even more perfect than god. He has no flaws and performs and gives 1000% (one thousand) every time. No artist can do that, and you people need to start realising that and accept that he has bad days and let other people point out that he had a bad day without abusing them and lashing them out of it for giving their opinion. It would seem to me that no matter what Meat does (good or bad) you people would think it was wonderful. I realise that you too have your opinions, but there is no need to belittle those who have a different opinion than yours, you should just accept their views like they accepts yours.

I think it's time to put an end to all the bitterness on this board and start afresh. Meat is gone from here and there is little anybody can do about that, he is a strong minded person and speaks his mind and seems to me that once he's made a decision, there's no going back on it. It's time to move on and try and get this board back to what it should be, a forum for Meat fans to Post good or bad views on the man and his career. Let's all be friends and learn to accept the views of everybody. There's nothing worse than going on to a forum and seeing people taking swipes at each other, it doesn't look good for the members of the forum or the artist for which the forum is dedicated. I'm sure there have being people who have come to view this forum and decided after reading some of the threads that they couldn't be bothered getting involved in it, that if their opinions couldn't be accepted, then they didn't want the hassle that it would bring.

What do you say? Let's bury the hatchet and move on. Let's make this board the best it can be with both the good points and the bad points being treated equally. Let's make so that anybody who decides to take a peek can go, "God, this is a great board where both sides are treated equally". Hopefully they'll tell their mates and the membership will shoot up and Meat's fan base will grow from strength to strength and make what Meat does even better.
