Can he not take a bit of criticism?
He has said he gets upset by criticism. We have seen that he does. It was obvious.

Meat opened himself up here to us. To some of us that was priceless, and worth accepting that criticism was hurtful, and best avoided if he were to continue to come here and share his feelings with us, because he obviously is wounded by, and reacts to criticism. It's how he is, and for many of us that was fine. Having him here was more important.

It's not that he's incapable of doing anything wrong, just that he doesn't welcome being told this in a forum of his fans. I was blessed with the most wonderful father possible. He was not completely without flaws, but I rejoiced in all his good qualities, and did not hold the odd weakness up to his scrutiny. My opinion is that Meat came here like family. He brought himself, not his stage persona here. To me that was something special. It was clear that he was hurt by criticism, and as far as I'm concerned he gives enough that is shining and good for me to respect those feelings, because I could not see him continuing to come and share himself if he felt attacked, whether this was intentional or not. It's just how he clearly felt.

However those who prize their freedom of spech have won out. I'm just responding to what you say Manheim and giving my view under that umbrella of freedom of speech people are so concerned about. So please, no talk of firefighters, or threats to my friends. I have made no threats to or about you. Just honestly responded to your question.
