Oh, I feel the passion is there. Not in the Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad or Anything For Love Style... but like the fire that was in Life Is A Lemon... I wonder if you mean it's not a lovelorn passion.. cause there's a heat from Meat .. a real grab a fan by the collar attitude to it.
Also I think the song sort of teeters on an Shakespearean play.. I can't recall which one it is.. but it has been reenacted on The Simpsons. King gets murdered by his brother. His brother wants to be King. But the heir to the throne is the King's son.. hey a Disney movie!
