A few years back I was away for the weekend. It was a stormy weekend with much rain. When I got home I discovered a small hole in the roof and the rain had poured inside. About 20 to 30 cm of water in the living room. I had stored all my cd's on the bottom shelf of my cupboard and needless to say all my CD covers got destroyed. Including my Meat loaf CD collection.
I had one signed Meat Loaf CD that was signed during the CHSIB tour which I was fund of. It happened that just before I left the house that weekend, I showed that CD cover to a friend of mine and I left the CD on top of my stereo set. It wasn't touched by the rain at all
. No matter how devestated I was at first by the fact that a lot of stuff had suffered from the water, that actually gave me a feeling of relieve and joy
