I'm not sure if I love the song, though I love that he did it. The dude will try anything- I've seen him cover "Da Doo Ron Ron" (and he didn't even switch out the pronouns to change the gender of the song lol), and it was a blast.
There is even a snippet of "Achy Breaky Heart" out there in bootleg land- do not challenge the man!
Bruce grew up on pop music and he loves it. I find it hilariously ironic that many of his fans are insufferable music snobs while he himself isn't. He's mentioned on numerous occasions that he likes some of the music that his kids listen to, even Miley
and Toby Keith.
