I'd say you have no need to apologise as far as I'm concerned, but I know you feel you do because of the man you are. Two and a half thousand people left messages within 2 hours of the update posted on your FB page. 99.5% at least were of concern for you (not their shows lined up) and love. The small balance who came to put the boot in said ridiculous and vile things which must have cut you to the quick .. but they were, and will always be, vastly outnumbered. Here nearly all those who posted simply wanted to show their concern. Take that to the bank .. because it's gold. It's deserved, but also freely given out of love.
You will always have friends here, many who love you for who and what you are, not simply what you do for them; who give you permission to be who you are, love that passion you have, and always will. Now, sleep
