Yes it was. And, arguably, so was the 2015 US tour and the 2016 leg.

He's needed rest. He has a hard time stopping. But he's stopping now, so better late than never.
A person needs to rest once in awhile and take care of himself, tend to his wounds. Whatever. I'm no poet but it's true. He's earned as long as rest as he'd like.
