But you celebrate it 5th December right? Pakjesavond (present evening). And in Belgium it is 6th December.
It's a bit like how in The States Christmas Eve is almost a bigger deal than Christmas Day I guess.
Also Dutch director Dick Maas made some horrors including one about Sinterklaas which looks a bit crap. He also did De Lift (The elevator) which is probably one of his best. The American remake he did Down/The Shaft was crap but eerily did predict Osama Bin Laden would/could strike NYC again before 9/11 .
I do like how the idea of how Sinterklaas' workers taking bad children away in sacks can be considered quite a scary thing and could have made a really good scary movie. Too bad the Sinterklaas / Zwarte Piet stuff has almost been completely destroyed in recent years by politically correct crap from people who see racism in absolutely everything.

Those political correct assholes should have been taken away in sacks years ago.
