Meat it has been awhile but I found my way back to. You have unknowlinglly been there for me many times with your music and have made a profound difference in my life.
My life has been crazy for the last 6 years been through alot of hard times and alot of pain, I turned away from life and friends and family for awhile but I never turned away from your music, your music has been a shinning light in a world of darkness for me.
I have been a fan since 1978, the first time I heard you was driving around listening to the radio and this singer named Meat Loaf came on and his voice blew me away. I have been a fan since then and my daughter and I went to two of your concerts in 1995 and had the time of our lives. I love you Meat have for the last 25 years and will till the end of time.
Even though you have no way of knowing how much you and your music mean to me I remember the day that I received Meat Loaf the Collection Cd from a friend in South Africa that I could not find in the USA. The main reason I wanted the cd so bad was to hear you sing "Stand My Me" and when I heard that song my tears started to flow, tears of happiness, your voice was like hearing an angel sing.
The words of the song that mean so much to me I want to say to you:

Just as long as you stand by me.
Meat you stood by me even though you didn't know it but the words that you sang in that song helped me climb out of the darkness into the light.
Meat I will always stand by you.
Please take some time to let your body heal and to get well.
