Ok all very fair points there kirtsy, and believe me everybody on this board are more worried about meat loafs health. Afterall his health, safety and well being always comes first to us.
But we are also worried about the single, a star like meat loaf deserves to do alot better in the charts than he has done lately, i mean number 38 for "couldnt have said it better" thats just wrong in my opinion.
Its all fair and well letting the people who attend meat loaf shows, know that the single is out. But we need to look further than that, obviously most of the people who attend his shows are fans, and we need to reach people who are not massive meat fans, or who havent heard of him alot. And how should we do that? By radio air play, and promo videos on music tv.
All im trying to say is that the record label shouldnt be relying on the loyal following of meat, and they should try and promote it, so it reaches people who wouldnt normally just go out and buy a meat record.
