Well ... it just goes to show doesn't it ... sitting visiting my mother, flicking through the music channels on Telewest Cable ... up pops the big man belting out Bat out of Hell (which I hadn't seen on tv for god knows how long). My mother is in her kitchen and shouted through 'Is that Meat Loaf' my reply was 'who else sings that song mum'. Oh she says, I like listening to him but I can't watch him. Then, and from my mother this is the BIGGEST compliment Meat could ever get 'HE HAS A LOVELY VOICE'. I was shocked as my mum is 71 this year and has always thought the music i listened to before i got married was 'just a noise' lol. Now, do I take down CHSIB CD next time I visit or do I just buy her one lol
