Default Which songs with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra?

I really love the rock songs with symphonic orchestra. I am a big fan of the Scorpions & Berliner Philharmoniker CD, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and all albums of Rhapsody. They are operas and rocks and more...

Well, which songs you want on the CD?
My list:

1. A Kiss Is A Terrible Thing To Waste
2. Bat Out Of Hell
3. I'd Do Anything For Love
4. Did I Say That?
5. Surf's Up
6. Life Is A Lemon
7. Execution Day
8. Forever Young
9. Home By Now/No Matter What
10. Heaven Can Wait
11. Objects In The Rear View Mirror
12. For Crying Out Loud

I think Paradise and Dead Ringer For Love wouldn't be good ideas cause you can't play rock 'n' roll songs with orchestra.
Execution Day, Surf's Up and Did I Say That? would sound great.
I think I mustn't explain Kiss, No Matter What and FCOL here...

I like your list but I really think Paradise should be on it.

I more or less agree with your list White, though i very much doubt that Surf's Up or Execution Day would be wheeled out at this stage (though it would be really cool if they were ). I think I'd add Man Of Steel and Out of the Fryin Pan.

FCOL without a doubt :)

No Matter What/Home By Now is perfect for a big orchestral backing, and I think Did I Say That? would be too .. also Forever Young. I'd adore a live version of Decadent Wish.

After that whatever Meat chooses will be fine for me :) I do have this dream in my head of him dueting with Patti an adapted version of "I know him so well" from Chess .. that would be fine with an orchestral backing too :) :)

I can't believe that Decadent Wish, Dance In My Pants or Paradise would be good. I don't hear the orchestra in back at now...

Oooo! A Kiss Is A Terrible Thing To Waste.

And Not A Dry Eye In The House

And Is Nothing Sacred Anymore

And Did I Say That

And Forever Young

Must stop adding ones.

I agree about Paradise and DeadRinger. Just can't hear it working in my mind.

Have you ever heard Paradise from Night Of The Proms? It was great, the best version of the song I've ever heard.

I also think Dance In My Pants is also a good song to play with the orchestra, because probably it sounds just as good as Paradise.

At the end Johnny B. Goode would be great also.
