Default Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

Does anyone own the CD, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra plays the music of Meat Loaf? I bought it yesterday and the arrangements of Bat Out Of Hell, I Would Do Anything For Love, I'd Lie For You And That's The Truth and Not A Dry Eye In The House are amazing. I wish they'd released an album with Meat's vocals along with the arrangement of the songs.

Hi!

It's a very good idea. Do you know the Album of Scorpions: Moment of Glory, The Best of with Berliner Philharmoniker? I think this is the most beautiful and fantastic album in the world. I love the music of Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman, I'm the biggest fan in Hungary, but this album is the best in the rock-history. Maybe it is between Andrew Lloyd Webber and Carl Orff. Still Loving You, Send Me An Agel, Wind of Change and Rock You Like A Hurricane are monuments. I hope this is the Future of Rock. Come on Meat and come on Jim! Make better album!

There has been is this forum already a discusion about rpo playing meat.
somebody said he used the cd as a placemat for is coffee cup.
I like the cd.
Meat sounds the best with a orchestra backing him up.
I saw him at the night of the proms and he kicked ass.

I still want to hear Bat (He played it on the last night of Night Of The Proms) with a great orchestra.

There is problably no one who has that NOTP version or a part of the NOTP version of Bat.

I think that the songs written by Jim are the best to hear with an orchestra. And maybe they can do a few special things, like Bad for Good, and an Patti or Pearl version of It's All Coming Back To Me Now.

I didn't think that Meat Loaf has played Bat Out Of Hell at the Night of the Proms. Otherwise, someone had made some mp3's of it, i think.

The CD of the RPH plays Meat Loaf is great. Only i think they made a joke of Bat out of hell. That track sounds so bad on the CD. It is a shame!!!

The other tracks are great. Specialy Rock and Roll Dreams. Great Saxaphoon.
