More 'Best Of' live discs?
Here's a slightly different twist on the usual game of going round and round in circles. If the 'best of Case de Carne' bonus disc does well and Meat releases more of them, then what would you put on a 'Best Of Three Bats' disc? Remember you only have 74 minutes to play with.

Easy: all songs that aren't on the 3 Bats DVD (which I think is just Land of the Pig, I think), padded out with songs of which there aren't a gazillion versions already (i.e., Objects, the new tracks)

Sorry but I think that Meat had very few great vocal performances on the BAT 3 tour. I think it would be far better to hear some of his other tours from the eighties and nineties.
He sounds so much better now, so a cd of his upcoming tour would be great. |

I'd love to hear an official release of some of the Neighborhood tour.

That's insane. Any 2005 release should include '(It Hurts) Only When I Feel' (parenteses subject to change), as that was much, much better than what Break It became.

from the parts i heard, it didn't sound great, I only base that on Youtube from footage of a dublin concert though.
I dunno I thought Break it was one of the stronger songs on Bat III |

There probably are. But I don't care, if such a disc would be released, it should be on it. While I like the Mike Vogel/Wuthering Heights/original version of Break It, Meat's stand alone version just doesn't do it for me. Only When It Feels on the other hand... that rocked my world.

Teh 2005 arrangement omitted that fimiliar opening riff and it hasnt returned since And stop with the Paradise. He obviously eliminated it on this best of and would probably omit again |

What would you have instead? Lemon, Took The Words or Mercury?

The 3 Bats Live cd was enough for me from that particular tour.
I'd enjoy hearing a cd from the WTTN tour and especially from the Very Best Of tour. |

Took the Words on a steaming gun.
Took teh words > lemon> paradise > lemon I'd like to actually see a remastered live at Wembley. It only runs 68 give or take minutes. I think you could make a very respectible cd set by making it a 2 disk Special Eddition. Disk 1:

Was Special Girl even done at Wembley? It wasn't performed on every show.
