London-Aberdeen (or anywhere in between!) train ticket for 2

I have a train ticket for 2 people for travel from London-Aberdeen, but it could be used for any station in between as long as it is on a GNER service. It is valid from 13th October-12th November. The only restrictions, which are stated on the back, are that on Mon-Fri you cannot leave King's Cross between 15.27 and 18.32 and on Sun you cannot leave King's Cross later than 13.47. This ticket would be ideal for anyone going to the Wembley concert and wanting to travel back. If you are interested PM me. I am selling the tickets in aid of Cancer Research.

Could they be used the other way round, as in London to Newcastle return?

Sorry it's got to be from London as they are the return part of a journey that I don't need.
