Desmond Dekker R.I.P.
Some of you older members may remember Desmond Dekker from the No 1 hit in 1969 - "The Israelites"- also "You can get it it if you really want" written by Jimmy Cliff sadly he has gone to join so many reggae and ska stars before him.....
July 16th 1941 - May 25th 2006 god bless Desmond...... who was briefly mentioned in the song by Paul McCartney Ob La Di Ob La Da "Desmond has a barrow in the market place" |
