I think Meat sounds very good on them. They sound better than on the album but I'm still not keen on Peace On Earth and Living On The Outside. I do like Los Angeloser and Song Of Madness though.
Paul Crook's mixing is improving. It was very good on the last lot of live stuff, and this is even better. The quality is far superior to some of the shoddy efforts Kasim put out, and it would be nice if Meat would let Paul loose on some of his back catalogue. |

Im actually not too keen on LOTO or LA. SOM and POE are fine, but I think LA and LOTO deserved some overdubbs on some parts. Especially LA.

The live tracks are very good, but they're not a patch on the live versions being performed now, the arrangements have matured even more since the summer tour, especially Los Angeloser.

I agree wholeheartedly. Great live tracks but damn, you should've been in Bournemouth last night to see just where these tracks are at now. Simply awesome.

The clips are far better than I expected, they sound fantastic. Peace on Earth is probably the best IMO, but they're all great. Madness sounds amazing live in high quality

what i forgot to mention: its great to join the cube of having a show ive been at be released. Asbury park was left off the carne CD.
LA has one overdubb, he dedicated it to a 'Krissie' at PNC and he just dedicates it to nobody here. |

Anyone else notice that you have to turn them up loud before you really start to hear the power in meat's voice? I blasted madness in my car and my little brother asked me if it was a studio version heheh, when i said no he looked really surprised!
These are the first 4 live Meat tracks since Melbourne that just ~~~~ing give me shivers, and makes me excited as hell to be a Meat fan. He truly is an amazing man. |
