It's always changing somewhat, but these would be my top ten as of today and in no particular order:

1. You Are What You Is - Frank Zappa
2. The Wild, the Innocent and the E Street Shuffle - Bruce Springsteen
3. Darkness on the Edge of Town - Bruce Springsteen*
4. Abbey Road - The Beatles
5. Don't Shoot Me, I'm Only the Piano Player - Elton John
6. Bat Out of Hell - Meat Loaf
7. Permanent Waves - Rush
8. Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Elton John
9. Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd
10. Lovedrive - Scorpions

*This one gets an * because while it's my favorite Springsteen album, I don't listen to the studio album much anymore, I prefer to listen to a rip of the Paramount Theater live performance from the box set.

**If bootlegs were included, I'd have to add Springsteen's show from the Main Point in Bryn Mawr, PA on 2/5/75.

In no particular order and excluding meat albums. This follows a superfast scan of my record collection. Many of these were on tapes! Max one album per artist

Elton John - too low for zero
Magnum - vigilante
Billy Joel - storm front
Dream Theater- scenes from a memory
Men at Work - Cargo
Rainbow - stranger in us all
Black Sabbath - Heaven and Hell
Thompson Twins - into the gap!!
Rocky IV Soundtrack
ACDC - back in black

There is no dark side of the moon, really...it's all dark.

Nice to see another vote for Don't Shoot Me.... My favorite cut is Blues for Baby and Me. Or maybe, Have Mercy on the Criminal...or...
