I was wondering what TWO OUT OF THREE AIN'T BAD would be like as a duet. Here's the lyrics (I've editied it to make the story work more):

I think Meat needs to sing the first part of this song.

Patti needs to sing: Well there only one boy... (The Bonnie Tyler Lyrics).

Both need to sing the second chorus, and the third. Patti: Baby, We can....

Just been catching up on old posts......Did Meat Loaf and Bonnie Tyler sing this together? Was it recorded?

Sorry, I just don't think this song is workable as a duet. It's one person explaining to another why they can't love them.

Meat did this as a duet (though I don't think they spent hours planning who would sing which bits) on the Donny and Marie Osmond Show a few years back (with Marie)

I thought it was OK but having heard it done so many times by Meat alone it was difficult to accept it as a duet and though there is nothing wrong with Marie's voice generally I didn't think it worked particularly well with Meat's in this instance

This was how they did it (they didn't do the whole song either):

Goodness !!!

That must have been a long time ago. I don't think the Donny and Marie Show has been on for about 20 years.

Puritan, either you have a super human memory to remember who sang which bit or you have a secret squirrel video stashed away somewhere.

No they did some new shows about four or five years ago. I must admit I do remember vaguely the originals though!

They ran these newer shows on a UK Satellite channel a few times a couple of years ago and I taped the show which Meat was in. Just watched it again this afternoon - obviously coz I couldn't remember who did which bit!!
