 Possibly the most random thing to ever appear in General Messages  Hmmmm, what are the options for this one?  A. Surprised you don't like Chinese food, Jenna...with my digestive problems I find Chinese really filling but very light, it's not heavy or stodgy at all.

A lot of the food doesn't have much in the way of spices .. and has no heat from them, more fragrance. They use cornflour as a thickener which is GF. The USA has a bigger GF lobby than here, and Asian food is one of those often recommended by GF groups. And as Lucy says, it can be very light. I remember spending years saying "No olives for me thanks" and removing them from any dish served with them. Then one day I tried an olive again .. it was marvellous, and I wondered when my palate might have started to appreciate them .. and how many I'd missed out on!!
