man of Steel video- My review

At first I didnt like it that much. I think its because i am kind of used to Meat doing videos that actually go with the concept or words to a song he sings/records. I am also disappointed that Meat and Pearl arent in it together. I think whoever had the concept for this video was pretty creative but wouldnt it have been neat with Meat and Pearl as cartoon characters? In thinking about that the two arent "lovers" or anything like it they are father and daughter. When i first heard the song thats what I had been hoping for "a father daughter song", but who doesnt? The song almsot seem slike a theme song to a movie. The movie being a story about fighting for the one you love and doing whatever it takes to get to them or to keep them safe. It almost has a sense of "sweetness" to it. It also has you rooting for them to get together in the end(which usually happens in the movies). I think it is certainly a stretch for Meat but could have also been done this way perhaps because he wasnt available at the time to do a video with himself actually in it? Maybe Pearl couldnt find the time either? It also reminded me of the movie Iron Giant. It allso takes you away from the "30s and 40s feel" that the album cover and pictures has in iand on the booklet of the cd.
