With Record Store Day just round the corner, what Meatloaf gem would you want to see released for this annual event?
My thought was maybe an EP with one track off of each of the three Bat albums??? |

It'd be nice to see a vinyl edition of Hell in a Handbasket, which if I'm not mistaken is the only Meat Loaf album that was never issued in the format. I don't have CHSIB on vinyl either, but I know it's out there as one or two people on here keep reminding me

Definitely HIAHB. I've got CHSIB so don't need one of those. Although that didn't stop me booking for it in a record shop today.

With how shit Amazon have been recently with deliveries (they are using a sub par cheapskate delivery company they set up called APLE which is getting tons of complains and also I didn't get the last few orders at all) record stores might once rise again and could hopefully exist longer than just 1 day.

CD's are becoming the new Vinyl. They are being replaced by digital downloads and I don't see the trend going back to physical media anytime soon. |

Yet, strangely enough, vinyl sales are on the rise. |

I gave up on Spotify after many of my favourite albums disappeared for no reason and I could never listen to some specific artists such as ACDC. We accept all this streaming but it's not as good as managing your own hard copy collection in my opinion. The fragmentation of services offered makes things complicated but then you also don't want to have 1 monopoly such as Apple taking control over things. I think hard copies were better and more exciting. |
