R.I.P. Prince
I was never a huge fan of his, but I have tremendous respect for him as a musician. This remains one of the most jaw-dropping guitar solos I have ever seen. The way he just tosses the guitar at the end is so incredibly badass:

It takes some serious skill(z) to play in that kind of Steve Vai style (especially with the octave runs he throws in every now and then) on a TELECASTER, too. Incredibly cool.
