Unsaid is among the Diane Warren songs that were bumped from the original lineup of the "Testify" album. But, you can find this song as one of the B-sides of the single Couldn't Have Said It Better. I understand that the single for CHSIB is virually impossible to obtain at the usual online retailers, as the pressing sold out. You might want to try eBay. Hope that helps you!!!

ROCK ON GOOD MUSIC!!!

I really want to hear this song ! I've heard "Decadent Wish" but not this. CHSIB is one of my favourite albums and the very idea it had "outtakes" fascinates me. Please could someone put this up??? PS. I'm also interested in hearing the mysterious CHSIB outtake: "Shadow Land"

If anyone can point me in the direction of "Unsaid" I'd appreciate it. Still not quite sure how that one has slipped through the net!

What's wrong with Diane Warren, she is a great songwriter, she may not be Jim Steinman, but she deserves credit.

My problem with her is that she writes way too much too mediocre songs that get way too much airplay. And if that isn't bad enough, she wrote songs for Milli Vanilli and Kenny G. Need I go on?

Her Meaty songs aren't bad though (eg ILFY, NADEINT)!

But yeah, she does get around some of the less class acts a bit :)

Those two are good, but I'm not too much a fan of "If This Is The Last Kiss", "You're Right, This Song Sucks" or "Unsaid". The last two are pretty much generic pop-drivel. Or so I think.

You're right about Last Kiss - I skip it every time, it's like "Pass the sick bucket!"

YRIWW is slightly better, but the main problem I have with it is the boyband production. Still, I think even with Jim or Todd producing it is still not Meaty enough.

Not heard unsaid so can't comment. But it's not really a long enough title, is it?

Having got a copy of Unsaid today (thanks T&J) I can see why it didn't make it onto the album, it's a song yes, it's a Meat song yes, so by some sort of definition it makes it a reasonable song, but you're not missing a great song by not having heard it... B-Side material for definite, and not really classic B-Side material!

I know. But apart from a few songs, I don't think BBIS is too good. Everyone makes bad choices, and I think hiring Frank Farian was a very bad one.

I think he did not hiring him but the Mighty Loaf just had to do it with him cause the record company said so.

True enough... and Meat himself has been quoted numerous times as saying that the album was ruined by the production, apparently it was far far rockier when it was recorded then FF got his evil claws and synthesisers onto it!
